Nick Swisher and Joanna Garcia Unveil Daughter's First Snap

Baseball player Nick Swisher and his actress wife, Joanna Garcia unveiled the first picture of their bundle of joy on Twitter, June 18, Tuesday. The picture comes a month after the baby was born.

"Who's ready to see Emerson Jay Swisher?!" the proud papa, wrote, while the 33-year-old mother posted an adorable picture of their little girl and added: "I would like you all to meet our little angel :)"

The little girl was shown wrapped in a purple blanket and sleeping inside a basket with her name, "Emme" written on it. Beautiful flowers surrounded the basket.

The new mama's Twitter account is flooded with best wishes and congratulatory messages from her fans and friends. Jermaine Curtis (American professional baseball infielder), actress-singer, Lucy Hale (well-known for role in "Bionic Woman"), actor-musician, Bryan Greenberg (of HBO's "How to Make It in America") and professional dancer, Cheryl Burke (ABC's Dancing with the Stars) conveyed their wishes too.

"Gorgeous! Congrats babe," Burke, wrote, while a fan of the celebrity couple added: "Beautiful baby and beautiful picture! Congratulations and thank you so much for sharing!"

After her split with fiancé Trace Ayala, Garcia started dating Swisher in 2009. The couple got engaged in May 2010 and tied the knot the in December. The "Reba" star announced pregnancy via Twitter in November 2012. In January 2013, Swisher confirmed that they were expecting a baby girl. The couple welcomed their daughter May 21 in Cleveland.

Despite announcing pregnancy and confirming the baby's gender directly, the couple didn't announce their daughter's arrival. The news was only confirmed when Swisher was found on the paternity leave list provided by the Cleveland Indians.

One week after giving birth, the new mom took to Twitter to share her happiness on becoming a mother."Since the arrival of baby Emerson, @NickSwisher & I have been so filled w love, joy, & gratitude..."she wrote May27, while adding that "Finally getting the chance to check back in w twitter and I'm totally overwhelmed by the outpouring of love...u tweeps r the best! Thank u!!"
