The recent comeback of Adele is one of the most highlighted occurrences that happened near the end of 2015. The album "25," which broke numerous records, has put the English singer in the music pedestal once again.
The four year hiatus the singer-songwriter took has allowed Adele to create the top charting songs "Hello," "When We Were Young," etc. and more good news is gracing the singer after it was announced that the album '25' is the best-selling album of 2015 in the US.
Adele's "25" sold a whopping 7.44 million copies since its release date and is now officially the best-selling album of 2015 and of any calendar year since 2004.
The album is still charting high on music charts both in the US and all around the world. The album also broke records during its release as it became the fastest album to sell pass the one million mark.
As of right now, the powerhouse singer is concentrating on her concert tour, which again made a big splash after the tickets were sold out fast leaving some Adele fans unhappy.
Adele's string of concerts will start on February this year in the United Kingdom moving into her European tour then in the Unites States, and is said to end by November later this year.
The "Hello" singer also came under scrutiny after she revealed that she did not want her new music to be streamed saying that it makes the album disposable.
"It's a bit disposable, streaming. I believe music should be an event. I don't use streaming. I buy my music. I download it, and I buy a physical [copy] just to make up for the fact that someone else somewhere isn't," Adele said in an interview with Time Magazine.
Despite Adele's long absence in the music industry with her record selling album "21" and "19" it was a sure thing that "25" is a hit and fans haven't died down since the album's release.
