Kenley and Calyn Stringer, a married couple from Tallahassee, Florida, had no children back in November 2014. After just a year, the couple already had six children. One of them is the couple's biological child while the other five were adopted.

Benjamin is the couple's 6-month old biological child while the adopted kids are Eric, 7 years old; Dale, 5; Brittan, 3; Maya, 2; and Kiki, who is still an infant. The Stringers have always wanted to adopt children but things did not work out, "We found we had to be very proactive and even when we were, we found that either the information was outdated or people just weren't responsive," Kenley told KDSK TV.
The Stringers found out about the pregnancy back in November 2014. A few days later after the good news, the couple found out about four siblings who were available for adoption after an unpleasant experience with their former foster parents. Kiki, the fifth sibling, only became available for adoption when Benjamin was already a month old.
The Stringer's children now enjoy playing on the trampoline, playing their gaming console, riding bikes, and interacting with other kids in their Sunday school classes. The children are also performing well at school with Eric and Dale attending Canopy Oaks Elementary, Brittan at Sealey Elementary and Maya attending Calyn's mother's home daycare center. The children also spent their Christmas with the couple and exchanging gifts with friends and family.
The loving couple has no regrets about getting six children in a span of one year. They consider the children as blessings in their lives and are happy that the children did not end up with abusive parents like what happened to the foster children of a US Army major or the adopted daughter of Taylor County woman.
"We try to tell people, 'yeah it can be difficult, but it's worth it," said Calyn, "It's so needed, and when we think about our kids and where they could've ended up, it can be scary." Many children who are eligible for adoption are in need of parents like Kenley and Calyn Stringer who will love them and treat them as their real children.
