"The Voice" host Carson Daly is a dad again and it's a girl this time.
The 39-year-old TV star and his girlfriend Siri Pinter welcomed their second child on Thursday.
"Tonight at 5:15pm we welcomed the latest addition to our family," Daly shared the happy news on Facebook. "Etta Jones Daly weighs 8lbs and is beautiful! Mom was a rockstar, Jackson James is a proud big bro, and dad's drinking a cold one. Praise God."
Daly and the food blogger are already parents to a three-year-old Jackson.
Daly, after announcing the second pregnancy in May revealed the methods they were adopting to make the newly-minted big brother accept the new addition to the family.
"[We have been] giving Jackson a lot of gifts -- like Transformers -- so he's already really excited for this young lady to come out," Daly told Us Weekly in May.
To support his wife during the birth, the NBC star completed filming of season three of "The Voice" in advance.
"I'm glad The Voice is done shooting right now . . . it will give me a minute to breathe. My focus is my family right now," he told Us Weekly.
The birth happened shortly after Pinter attempted to induce labor by eating "The Maternity Salad." The food blogger started getting contractions after eating it, People magazine reported.
"I had to go into my office ... 'Did the salad work? Is there a baby yet?' Contractions have begun!" Daly Tweeted, Sep.5 one day before birth.
