Miss Universe 2015 Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach Says 'Steve Harvey is Forgiven'; Miss Philippines Wants Him Back Being A Host

Miss Universe 2015 Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach admitted in a sit down interview with Lara Spencer in "Good Morning America" that Steve Harvey was forgiven and she wants him to get back on being a host.

Harvey, who is the host of "Family Feud" host and a comedian, did a terrible mistake in announcing the wrong winner in 2015 Miss Universe. The host first declared that Miss Colombia, Adriana Gutierrez, was the winner but he later corrected himself and announced that Miss Philippines is the real and rightful owner of the crown.

When asked about Harvey being a pageant host, she simply answered "Yeah, why not?" She then added: "I think he's a breath of fresh air, he made us feel very relaxed, the contestants. It makes us show our personalities a little bit more. I think that benefits everybody, especially the viewers."

During the interview, Wurtzbach said that Harvey did an honest human mistake. She said that the host did a gracious apology for what happened and she accepted it.

"Maybe the way it was written, it was a little confusing," "I understand. It was his first time to judge a pageant, but it's OK. He's human. People make mistakes."

After the prestige pageant blunder, Miss Colombia finally responded in her interview with a Colombia radio station saying she wasn't the only one who was humiliated but her country as well.

"It was very humiliating for me, but also for the whole country and for all the people not only from Colombia but the other Latinos that were in the auditorium," Ariadna said.

Meanwhile, Yahoo! News reported that Ariadna was also asked by Donald Trump's suggestion that the title should be shared by the two beauty queens. Wurtzbach balked the idea in the interview and said that it would be difficult for them to share it. However, the 26-year-old Filipina beauty stated she is positive that it will give her, Miss Colombia, and the rest of the contestants big opportunities in the near future.
