Kate Middleton 'Worried' Prince William will be Away During Royal Baby's Birth

The pregnant Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton, who is nearing her due date, is reportedly concerned about giving birth without the presence of her husband Prince William.

The royal baby is expected to arrive in July. According to reports from Now magazine, the mom-to-be is worried that William who works as an RAF search and rescue pilot in North Wales, will be away from home when their baby arrives.

"Kate's worried he might not be around," a source, told the magazine."She's feeling self-conscious because it's uncharted territory for both of them. It's an exciting and nervous time, but she knows that he'll do everything in his power not to let her down."

This is not the first time the royal couple is sacrificing a special moment. Earlier, Will was away at duty during their first Valentine's Day and was also absent on their second wedding anniversary.

Middleton is all set to give birth in St. Mary's Hospital in London and William would be breaking royal tradition and accompanying his wife in the labour room to witness the baby's birth.

Considering the couple's difficult situation, the Royal family has already made arrangements to help William reach the hospital on time.

"Between now and then he is on and off shift and every attempt will be made to get him there," Entertainmentwise.com quoted a royal source telling People magazine.

Middleton met Prince William while studying Art History at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland. The couple started dating in 2002, got engaged in 2010 and tied the knot the following year. The royal couple their pregnancy in December 2012, when Middleton was admitted to hospital for experiencing a severe form of morning sickness known as Hyperemesis Gravidarum.
