The much-awaited DC Extended Universe movie "Suicide Squad" revealed one of their greatest characters Harley Quinn to be creepy, violent, and crazy. Quinn is one villain that most of the viewers are excited about.
Harley Quinn's story started when she met The Joker while working as a psychiatrist at Arkham Asylum where the latter was a patient.
Margot Robbie, who played the role of the crazy villain, talked about being connected to her character in her recent interview with Cineplex. "Harley is creepy, violent, crazy - all of the things that I aspire to be!" she said. "No. It's the fun of living vicariously through someone who is doing things that I would never do in real life."
The actress also revealed that she's a big fan of her co-star friend Will Smith and even encouraged the bankable actor to join the film's casts.
"I actually texted him when I heard he was in negotiations to be in 'Suicide Squad' and kept peer-pressuring him," Robbie recalled. "'You'd better be taking this movie!' He obviously signed on for his own reasons, but I was so incredibly happy that we got to do Round Two. He's awesome on set and awesome off set. He's just a really, really good person."
Reports claimed that the on-screen love team of Harley Quinn and Deadshot is unquestionable and described as a "ragged love triangle" with The Joker, Jared Leto. Robbie is also reportedly excited for the movie to be released.
"Suicide Squad" is an upcoming superhero-supervillain film directed by David Ayer, starring Jared Leto as the Joker, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Will Smith as Deadshot, Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Killer Croc, Karen Fukuhara as Katana, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flag, Jay Hernandez as El Diablo and Adam Beach as Slipknot.
