Actress Paula Garces is going to be a mommy again.
The 39-year-old actress, best known for her role in "Clockstoppers", confirmed expecting her second child with husband Antonio Hernandez to People magazine.
During the talk, the mom-to-be revealed her happiness at getting pregnant after struggling to conceive for years and going through two miscarriages. "It's a miracle!" Garces, who learnt of her pregnancy during annual check-up, told the magazine. "We're excited to finally be pregnant after so many years and make my daughter the best big sister, and my husband an amazing dad."
This is the first child for the couple, who tied the knot in 2002. The new addition will be joining Garce's daughter Skye Mahoney (21) from a previous relationship. The expecting couple, who is literally over the moon since learning of the pregnancy, is planning to celebrate it with a getaway beach weekend at the Hard Rock Hotel in Punta Cana, Dominician Republic.
The actress is now waiting impatiently to show off her baby bump. "I can't wait to debut my belly at Comic Con this July," she added to the magazine.
According to media reports, the Colombian star first broke the news during the "See by Chloe Fragrance" launch in New York, June 12.
Fans and well-wishers came forward to convey their support and wishes: "I watch her on All My Children on Hulu and she is great as Lea. Congratulations Paula. And yes she looks amazing for 39. This is not even her best picture," one of the messages on People, read.
