Selling more than 12 million copies since it was released in November, it is safe to say that "Star Wars: Battlefront" is now among the most popular video games to date. Hence, it comes to no surprise to know if this game will sell more and becomes more popular in the coming days with the victory of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" in the box office arena.
Now, new reports claimed that a new DLC update will be added to the game. Fans of "Star Wars: Battlefront" have since been speculating what elements are going to be featured in the forthcoming update. Despite the fact that the game has garnered several positive feedbacks from several game reviewers, there are still some who are not satisfied with what the game is currently offering. While some enjoys the game as it is, quite a number of fans are still requesting for single-player options, more heroes and space combats.
With several fans asking the game's developer to include these features, Design and Trend conducted a survey among followers to determine their opinions on what elements should be included in the upcoming "Star Wars: Battlefront" DLC release. The survey offered choices to the respondents: 1) "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" DLC; 2) single-player options; 3) true space combat; 4) more heroes; 5) more maps; and 5) leave the game as it is.
Reports about "Star Wars: Battlefront" DLC featuring a real space combat has ben swirling over the Internet for a while now. Not providing this element in the initial release of the game has been considered as its downside. However, with this report, it seems like fans now have something to look forward to.
Aside from that, it has been revealed that EA will soon be adding more heroes which could definitely add more excitement to "Star Wars: Battlefront" game. It was even reported that the game developer is also conducting its own research to know what the fans want in the upcoming updates.
On the other hand, up until now, no official statement about a single-player mode for the game has been released yet. Hopefully, with the public insistent demand, EA will be able to provide this feature in the near future.
Meanwhile, the release date for the new "Star Wars: Battlefront" DLC will be happening soon. As a matter of fact, it is the game's hero designer himself, Guillaume Mroz, who said that official announcement should happen these coming days.
"I can only say that we're going to announce what the DLC is about soon," he revealed to Express. "Offline multiplayer has technical difficulties that the single-player guys are definitely looking at. I can't give any dates for that but we're very aware of the huge request for this."
