Elisabeth Moss of Mad Men Loves the Idea of Adopting Children

Elisabeth Moss of the 'Mad Men' fame confessed her desire for wanting children and said she was open to the idea of adopting kids.

Elisabeth is inspired by her friends who are in the process of adopting a child. "I'd like to (have children), I hope to. I have a couple of good friends who are single and adopting a child, and they're beautiful, smart, incredible women. It has nothing to do with anything except they didn't meet the right man and guess what? They're not going to settle. We're very lucky as women these days because we have so many choices," said Elisabeth, who is dating Australian cinematographer Adam Arkapaw.

Last year March, Elisabeth said that she was "too young" to have children. "I have a tremendous amount of respect for my mother, and it makes me want to be a really great mother. And sure, in an ideal world I can do it all. But I think for now I'm too young to know. You almost have to get older to understand that you're too young to know," she said.

Elisabeth was briefly married to 'Saturday Night Live' comedian Fred Armisen. The couple divorced in 2011, ending two years of marriage.

The actress admitted to no stability in her life although she is in a relationship and is eager to stop her "gypsy lifestyle."

In an interview to the Telegraph magazine, she said that that she was "growing out of" such a lifestyle. ''It's a very gypsy lifestyle which I lead. I don't own a place because I don't live anywhere. I'm happy with it but I'm growing out of it. I'm just getting to the point where I'd like a place to put my s**t in that doesn't move. Carrying around the boxes and not knowing where your shoes are and that jacket you want to wear - it gets a little tiring.''
