‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ Plot, Spoilers & News Update: Rey’s Name is Not Rey; Rey Might Be A Skywalker Or Could Be Obi Wan Kenobi's Grand Daughter

After the big reveal that Kylo Ren is Ben Solo, theories surrounding the Internet suggest that Rey's name could not be Rey. Could she be a Skywalker? Or even the granddaughter of Obi-Wan Kenobi? Nevertheless, it helped her stay safe and hidden in Jakku.

With several cliffhangers on Episode 7, a lot of questions remained unanswered; Who are Rey's real parents? Why is the Force calling her and why is she good at handling it?

Huffington collected the best possible theories of Rey's identity and her close connection to Kylo Ren and Luke Skywalker. The whole movie was saying that Rey might be a Skywalker.

The whole movie was a big hint that the Force was calling her, and when Kylo Ren tried to read her mind, all he saw was an island where Rey found Luke at the end of the movie. The strongest hint would be Rey describing the Millennium Falcon as "garbage," paralleling how Luke once said it was a "piece of junk."

Rey was also rumored to be linked to Obi-Wan Kenobi because of her unbelievable Jedi skills. Their clothes are almost the same.

Several fans also claimed that Rey might be a survivor of a tragic incident at Luke's Jedi Academy. Recalling the time when a dream scene happened when Rey touched Luke's old lightsaber? Some also say that the reason why her memory was erased is because Rey witnessed the tragic incident. Plus Rey's outfit is the same as those young Jedi in the prequel.

Kylo might have also saved Rey. According to many, Kylo was ordered to kill everyone but because he is somehow close or related to Rey, he saved her by erasing all of her memories and hid her in Jakku.

Also, the fact that Rey was fully trusted and recognized by BB-8, and her instinct of saving and keeping BB-8 instead of giving him up is likely questionable.

So what do you think of these best theories so far?
