Supercell has recently received several backlash from gamers who were disappointed with its latest update. However, despite the criticisms, the game developer insisted that the newest "Clash of Clans" shield system is going to be a permanent feature in the popular game.
The new "Clash of Clans" shield system forces the players to situate their Town Hall inside walls and defenses. Now, Supercell stated that they are looking for other ways on how to solve fans' main issue with the revamped new feature, saying that it is less resource income.
Despite this, Supercell remained firm in their statement that the heart of the village is the Town Hall, which means that it must be carefully secured and defended from all types of attacks. "Clash was never intended to be played that way - this change is here to stay," a Supercell staff named Anoushka revealed in a statement.
It was even said that the top priority of "Clash of Clans" right now is to improve the resource saving for the players. "We know this is a hot topic and a frustration for many of you- we hear you!" Anoushka added on. We're checking your feedback closely and the state of the game for all players after the update. Improving this is our highest priority right now!"
On the other hand, there has been no official reports whether or not updates are available for Village Guard, Shields and Personal Breaks in the coming weeks. What is certain for now is that Supercell has no plans on changing those stated features yet despite the very fact that it received thousands of complaints from the "CoC" devotees.
"They look solid and feel like they're working well," Anoushka divulged. "We don't have any plans right now to make changes here, we will focus all our attention on resource saving for the time being."
Meanwhile, Anoushka announced that the Attack boost feature has ben ended during the maintenance break earlier this week. Also, "CoC" players can now keep on boosting all their resources for 1-Gem since Supercell have extended its promotion, this include Dark Elixir Drills, Elixir Pumps and Gold Mines.
