Fans of rapper and hip hop mogul Kanye West has been anticipating his new album and, finally, the release date has been announced via the artist's official Twitter account on January 8.
West had it in the open to his fans saying his album "Swish" is about to set its debut on February 11 of this year. He built up the said news with different posts to create a hype and excitement by using his "G.O.O.D Fridays" series, according to New York Daily News.
This is the rapper's 8th album and the last time he released his material also became a hit, as everyone who has followed his career knows the success he got from the "Yeezus" album. His wife Kim Kardashian has also been supporting him in promoting his new project, as she tweeted an announcement stating that West would be releasing new materials every Friday. It is the same marketing strategy that West did back in his 2010 album called "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy."
Kanye West is a known perfectionist in the field of music that he would do absolutely everything to keep the quality of his work at par to world-class standards. Having said that, his recent upload for his "G.O.O.D Fridays" project wasn't that good enough for his standard that he decided to take it down right after realizing he didn't like the sound quality of it. That song was called 'Real Friends' and he made it available on SoundCloud.
Fans are also happy to hear another material from him before his official new album release and it is a track that he worked along with Kendrick Lamar. The song was called, "No More Parties in LA."
In an article published by iDigitalTimes, West's "Swish" project used to be called "So Help Me God." Fans and critics are anticipating another success coming from him this February.
