'Final Fantasy: Adventures of Mana' Release Date & News Update: Remake In The Works, Getting An English Version [VIDEO]

The "Final Fantasy Adventure" is waited for by fans all over the world. The game is most popular in Japan, but it is gaining popularity fast everywhere else in the Western world.

Fans of the game have not reasons to worry about the development time spent on the "Final Fantasy 7" remake and "Kingdom Hearts 3." According to the developer Square Enix, a considerable amount of development time has been spent for both games and they have progressed much, according to the gaming specialized website Attack of the Fan Boy.

After the upcoming "Final Fantasy Adventure" remake has been announced previously for Japan, according to the website Kotaku, a new English website has been launched for "Adventures of Mana." According to Kotaku, the announcement was not made official yet, however the screenshots from the English website confirm that the game's is truly making its way west.

According to previous reports on Kotaku, the Japanese version of "Adventures of Mana" is planned for Vita, Android and iOS. However, some rumors that have been spread by insiders point out the fact that the western version of the game will work only on the two mobile platforms. The rumors seem to be confirmed by the fact that the English website is not showing the PlayStation logo.

"Final Fantasy Adventure" game was first launched back in the year 1991, as a Game Boy version. The title "Final Fantasy" was chosen by the game developer Square Soft in hopes of improving sales. However, the original title was actually "Seiken Densetsu," as western gamers would discover later on. "Final Fantasy" was a predecessor to the "Secret of Mana," a Super Nintendo action-RPG.

Square Soft released in 2003 "Sword of Mana," a GBA remake maintaining the spirit of "Final Fantasy Adventure." However, the entire story, mechanics and world have been overhauled. In the meantime, "Adventures of Mana" has stick much closer to the original.
