Marvel superheroes when placed on screen seem to be related to other Marvel characters. This has been the brand so far of the company and it is looking like they are very much consistent with it now that another character is about to emerge by the name of Black Panther.
In an interview with Empire Magazine, Marvel's president Kevin Feige voiced out a lot of information about this new character they are developing called Black Panther and how exactly would he be related to other marvel characters, especially the ones in the Avengers.
The plot of the story was revealed by Feige with his statement saying, "It's a big geo-political action adventure that focuses on the family and royal struggle of T'Challa (aka Black Panther) in Wakanda, and what it means to be a king." He also added that the Black Panther's story plays a significant role to the company because it is linked to the upcoming films that the Avengers would be releasing soon. His character pretty much plays a domino effect according to Design & Trend.
As for the cast, Andy Serkis is among the actors in Hollywood that is being eyed to play the villain who is Ulysses Klau based on IB Times' report. The said antagonist was first introduced in the new Avenger's film and a lot of people are already assuming that he has a lot to do in the story of the Black Panther.
Based on the comic book, Ulysses has always been the Black Panther's nemesis. He is also someone who always gets in trouble with the Fantastic Four.
The Black Panther's character is going to be inspirational to a lot of people, especially for those who have a dream. However, before he has his own stand alone film, he would first be introduced in the new Captain America series called "Civil War" and it is about to be released on April 29 in the United Kingdom.
