'Super Smash Bros 4' DLC Characters & Update: Newest Version Of The Game Will Be The Last? Know More Here [VIDEO]

According to reports, "Super Smash Bros." for 3DS and Wii U is going receive next month its final batch of DLC . With the newest game's DLC getting closer, fans are wondering when may be released the next game.

The website N4BB is announcing the fans of the Nintendo series that, after February 2016, they might need to wait for a very long time before to ever see a new release.

According to Kotaku, the head of development for each "Super Smash Bros." game, Masahiro Sakurai, declared way back in December 14 that it takes hard work developing the series. They require complex coding and graphics and almost constant attention. Since its initial creation, Sakurai has seen the series grow gradually.

The head of the game development has been always determined to deliver the best quality of game possible. However, he believes that the newest version of Nintendo's game, because of the strain involved with development, may be his last. It is still not clear who would involve in developing the next game, if this would be the case. It is also unknown how long the game development could take in case that a new person will be leading the project.

The game's fans still have some great DLC to look forwards before to worry about the future of the "Super Smash Bros." series. In February, two new characters, Bayonetta and Corrin, are going to be available for download. They seem to be the final characters added to the game, according to Sakurai's declaration.

There is not likely that any new DLC would come to move forward. Only small patches and updates could be expected by fans after the release of Bayonetta and Corrin, but nothing more serious than that.

At the Fighter Ballot, a poll asking fans which character they want to be added to the game series, Bayonetta was the winner. On the other side, Corrin comes from a RPG/strategy game called "Fire Emblem: Fates," set to release on February 19 in North America.
