Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson proudly says he can take care of women "spiritually" and emotionally.
In a candid interview with the Essence magazine, the 41-year-old action star revealed that he can take care of women in all ways possible. "When I say I'm going to take care of a woman, I don't just mean physically or sexually or romantically. I'm going to take care of her emotionally and spiritually," he told the magazine. "I'm going to take care of her in all ways. I take a lot of pride in that today."
Dwayne also opened up about his divorce with college sweetheart Dany Gracia Johnson. "Since our divorce, we've become pretty good at working together, and we are also raising our beautiful 11-year-old daughter, Simone," he said. Dwayne and Dany were married for 10 years and together for 17 years. They divorced in 2007 and decided to spend rest of their lives together as best friends, reported People.
"You know, you don't sign up for a divorce when you get married, it's very painful. But it's taught me a great deal about myself," he said. The former wrestling star added that he and his ex-wife maintained a positive relationship that played an important part in raising their daughter.
Following their divorce, Dany continued to run the business she and Dwayne established together. "He has a strong sense of family," Garcia told People last year."We have that extra layer of trust that can only come from family. We are just a different family, and we keep adding new people."
Dwayne will be seen playing the title role in Brett Ratner's Hercules next summer. News reports reveal that he is consuming nearly 5,000 calories a day to beef up for the role. The actor is keeping his fans updated via his Twitter account on his diet.
Here is a sample of his meals: A steak, four eggs and oatmeal for breakfast, a protein supplement and 10 egg whites scrambled with onions, peppers and mushrooms for supper.
