The highly-coveted 'Bourne' movie franchise is currently filming its fifth installment in Las Vegas where actor Matt Damon would be working on some action scenes.
According to KFTV, the actor is expected to still be on the set of the movie for the next couple of weeks. Clearly, this project would create an even bigger buzz in Vegas.
The city has been famous for being such an iconic place for tourists in America, but filmmakers were not often interested in using these days as a location due to some issues regarding tax incentive. Usually, they would just use it for a short amount of time after get shots of the city and then they will go back to their studios and other location where they think is reasonable for their budget.
The filming of "Bourne 5" began late last year and it is looking like there will be more terrifying stunts that this movie would be showing for fans to once again hold their breaths on their seats. And it is not just that, being in many tourist destinations is also what this movie is known for and that part won't change at all. This time, they will have scenes shot in Germany and London.
In an interview that Damon had with Variety, he shared some experiences of being in some of the places they have filmed so far. "We were in Tenerife, which is supposed to be Athens. It would be like a night-time riot scene to kind of start the movie. And then England, Berlin a little bit for about a week, and a little bit in DC. Then we're going to Vegas for the third act," the actor revealed.
As for the cast, Cheetsheet reported that Alicia Vikander is going to be the female lead and Tommy Lee Jones is also going to be a part of it as a superior CIA agent.
