'The Division' Release Date & News Update: Explosive Firefight and New Areas Revealed in New Trailer [VIDEO]

After a long wait for the release of "The Division", eight weeks from the expected arrival of the game, the developer Ubisoft looks prepared to finally reveal its post-apocalyptic online shooter.

A public beta is expected to come before the game's release date that is set for March 8. Rumors suggested that the beta may come on January 29, according to the specialized website Videogamer. Before Christmas was released an alpha test for a selected few players on Xbox One.

A new Italian trailer has appeared online but was quickly pulled from the YouTube channel. Ubisoft has blocked the unofficial Italian trailer on grounds of copyright infringement. However, this did happen not before the trailer was hosted on other website. The trailer is three minutes long and comprises the best look so far at the New York open world and the game's gunplay.

We suppose that it won't take too long until the developer company Ubisoft will release officially its new "The Division" trailer, but until then all fans of the game could easily find it elsewhere online.

According to the specialized website Eurogamer, among the freshly revealed areas are included the game's familiar snowy streets as well as an underground metro and ruined train station. The trailer also allows gamers to take a good look at areas were they can relax, team up with friends, talk to NPCs before adventuring back into the game's dangerous territories, the so called Division's safe zones.

The fans of "The Division" will face enemies with gun turrets and riot shields. They could also face the danger of being set on fire by foes with incendiary grenades or flamethrowers.

The three-minute game play trailer revealing "The Division's" new footage was posted on YouTube by GameStop Italy. For those who can understand Italian, the trailer comes with a host of new information.

The trailer was posted to YouTube by GameStop Italy and appears to reveal a host of new information - provided you can speak Italian.

We expect to see soon an English version posted on the official Ubisoft channels, since the Italian trailer appears to be official.
