'Suicide Squad' Release Date, Cast, Plot & News Update: Batman's Role Revealed In Movie; New Photo Of 'Suicide Squad' Released [Photo]

The highly-anticipated DC comics movie "Suicide Squad" is making waves in the Internet ever since it was announced and now "Suicide Squad" movie director David Ayer recently released an official set photo of the "Suicide Squad" member looking badass.

In the picture Ayer tweeted out, it showed the numerous members of the squad including Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), Killer Croc (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje), Rick Flagg (Joel Kinnaman), Deadshot (Will Smith), Captain Boomerang (Jai Courtney) and Katana (Karen Fukuhara). The "Suicide Squad" photo totally hypes up the waiting game for the movie's release.

Unfortunately, in the photo The Joker wasn't there, it could be a part of the marketing strategy of the movie team to keep the most famous "Suicide Squad" member under wraps. "Suicide Squad" concentrates on the imprisoned villains recruited by a government agency to perform black operations in return for clemency.

Other members in the "Suicide Squad" not shown in the photo are Deadshot (Will Smith), Enchantress (Cara Delevingne), Diablo (Jay Hernandez), and Amanda Waller (Viola Davis). "Suicide Squad" is set to debut this August 5 following another DC comic movie "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice."

In recent events as well, Ben Affleck, who plays Batman in the upcoming movie "Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice," revealed his thoughts about his involvement in the "Suicide Squad" movie. "It felt like I have such a cool cousin. This thing that is so awesome is somehow related to me, and that was really exciting because it started to feel like a constellation of things, and I've never had that feeling," Affleck said.

It would be awesome to see the new Batman in the "Suicide Squad" movie just like how the Marvel Universe cross over numerous of their comic characters in each other's movie. As to what DC and Warner Bros. have up their sleeves for their comic book superheroes, only time will show.
