NBA Trade News: Should We Worry About Golden State Warriors’ Roster At NBA Trade Deadline?

Potential trade rumors have started as Golden State Warriors upscale their record at 36-2 after their game with Miami Heat yesterday. The unbelievable rampage of the team with its career-high records this season has something to do with the upcoming trade this February.

According to Bleacher Report, Bob Myers, General Manager, Golden State Warriors has still no plans in changing their roster unless Marreese Speights will improve. Reports say that Speights have been struggling with just 37.8 percent of his catch-and-shoot opportunities this season.

"The front office is studying the trade market, because if Speights can't find his form, and soon, the Warriors will seek out another stretch four, somebody Walton or Kerr can call when they need a scoring punch." Monte Poole reported.

Meanwhile, his teammate Festus Ezeli has been improving his defense and offense game this season. Reports say that Speights hasn't been living with his nickname as "Mo Buckets" because the team has been relying on Ezeli recently than Speights.

"I feel bad because we try to give him (Speights) opportunities. But Festus has played so great that a lot of those minutes have gotten eaten up." Luke Walton said.

Despite Speights being a bench player, his team are still hoping for him to get back to his game because they all know what Speights are capable of when he's on the floor.

"He knows he's talented, it's just a matter of getting in the right place, in the right situation. He comes in, ready to shoot 15 shots in 10 minutes, and that's exactly what we want from him. His defense is a lot better this year, and he's rebounding. Our whole bench has been huge, but he's probably won us two or three games by himself." Andrew Sharp reported.

The Golden State Warriors' players have their own strengths and weaknesses from the first five to bench players. Great coaching comes with great balance and equilibrium for the team - one way in retaining their title as the current NBA Champions.
