‘Final Fantasy 7 Remake’, ‘Kingdom Hearts 3’ Release Date & News Update: Tetsuya Nomura Reveals Some Progress; Games To Come Out In 2017?

Several fans have been waiting for the release of popular games "Final Fantasy 7 Remake" and "Kingdom Hearts 3." Now, they have a new reason to celebrate as Tetsuya Nomura revealed major details about the progress of these two highly-anticipated games.

Tetsuya revealed to Famitsu that there are some significant developments of the games. As a matter of fact, these details will be released to the public very soon.

"KINGDOM HEARTS III and FINAL FANTASY VII Remake have entered a significant time of development, although like every year when it is in the middle of development, PR will release information to the public," Tetsuya stated during the interview, as per Kingdom Hearts Insider. "Such as arcades and in regards to copyrights, and with respect to what management is continuing to do, we'll try to make our content more fun."

Fans have been waiting for these revelations from Tetsuya and Square Enix. Attack of the Fanboy shared that the "Final Fantasy 7 Remake" game is speculated to have an initial release in 2017, which is in time with the 20th anniversary of the "Final Fantasy" series. On the other hand, "Kingdom Heart 3" is reported to come out in 2017 after it was announced in E3 2013.

To recall, the developers of "Final Fantasy 7 Remake" received several backlash from fans when it was announced that it will be released in installment instead of having it in one big chunk. "We've seen everyone's comments and reactions to the news that Final Fantasy VII Remake will be a multi-part series and many have speculated correctly as to the reason why we have made this decision," producer Yoshinori Kitase clarified.

"If we were to try to fit everything from the original into one remake installment, we would have to cut various parts and create a condensed version of Final Fantasy VII," he added. "We knew none of you would have wanted that."
