The highly-anticipated second installment of the successful "Avengers" film "Avenger: Infinity War" is slowly being revealed by many of the people involved in the movie, this way not only will it add to the already high amount of hype surrounding the movie, but it will also let the "Marvel Universe" fans speculate. In a recent interview, the Russo brothers, who were highly involved in the first "Avenger" film, revealed that there are numerous "Marvel Comic Universe" characters in the film, a staggering 67 of them.
Sixty seven character is just too high of a number for the members of "The Avengers" alone and so fans have speculated that their might be crossovers happening, especially with "The Guardians of The Galaxy" characters. Although it is for certain that at some point "The Avengers" and "The Guardians of The Galaxy" will meet, it is unsure whether it is during the "Avengers: Infinity Wars" movie.
The Russo brothers, who commented about the possible involvement of "The Guardians of The Galaxy" characters in "Avengers: Infinity War," said that it is a "surprise." "That is another one that we would have to reserve as a surprise, but we will say this: People will not be disappointed in the amount of characters in the movie. The concept of 'Infinity War' is that the Marvel universe unites to battle the greatest threat to the world and universe that you've ever seen, and we're going to honor that concept," Joe Russo commented.
However, "The Guardians of the Galaxy's" director James Gunn voiced his opinion about the crossover and doesn't agree with it. "We have our own galaxy to save. Earth is the Avengers' province. Thinking that everything is going to come together in a perfect way is not necessarily the way it's going to happen," Gunn said.
The Russo brothers also revealed that "Avengers: Infinity War" will focus on the cosmic side of things and they will apply as much rules of physics as they can in the film. "Avengers: Infinity War" Part 1 will open in theaters on May 4, 2018 while the 2nd part will be on May 3, 2019.
