'Friends' Reunion Confirmed But BFFs Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Cox Friends No More: Will Brad Pitt's Ex and 'Cougar' Star Fallout Get In The Way?

It's confirmed! "Friends" Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer getting back together for a two-hour special of the hit NBC series. This special get-together of '90s favorites Rachel, Monica, Phoebe, Joey, Chandler and Ross is meant to honor the 75th birthday of veteran James Burrow who did 15 episodes of "Friends."

Legendary comedy director Burrow, who has just recently completed his 1,000th television episode, is responsible for numerous episodes of such hits as "Taxi," "The Bob Newhart Show," "Cheers," "Frasier," "Laverne & Shirley," "News Radio," "Mary Tyler Moore" and "Will & Grace," "Mike & Molly" and "The Millers." The "Friends" tributee also kicked off pilots for such shows as "The Big Bang Theory," "2 Broke Girls" and "3rd Rock From The Sun."

Entertainment Weekly reported that NBC is hopeful that Aniston, Cox, Kudrow, LeBlanc, Perry and Schwimmer will actually get the chance to be in the same room together during the making of the special. Chief Robert Greenblatt is, however, being very realistic about the current demand on the original Friends' schedules.

"I'm hoping all six will be in the same room at the same time," said Greenblatt. "I'm not sure we can logistically pull it off."

Schedules may not be the only hurdle to a physical reunion for the super six. A shadow of a cloud has actually been cast upon this happy event because BFFs Aniston and Cox are reportedly at outs with each other. The Hollywood Life said that Life&Style spoke with a source who confirmed that these "Friends" are friends no more.

What happened? "Jen didn't invite Courteney to Telluride on purpose," the insider told Life&Style, speaking of the holiday get-together that Aniston and husband Justin Theroux had with a big group of friends. "Courteney feels incredibly betrayed by Jen. She's really hurt that her best friend hasn't been there for her."

The duo began going different ways after Cox's break-up with fiancé Johnny McDaid in December 2015. Instead of comforting her friend Aniston, with Theroux, allegedly became tight with McDaid causing Brad Pitt's ex to get on her friend's case.

"Jen said some really insensitive things," the source further revealed. "She told Court she was being 'difficult' with Johnny, who had wanted to work things out. It really ticked Courteney off."

Hopefully, the tribute would remind the women why they became good friends in the first place. In any case, if this row doesn't get in the way and the special does happen, it is scheduled to air on Sunday, Feb. 21.
