Who is Eve? 'Grimm Season 5' Returns With Nick Dealing With Juliette's Lookalike

A lot of the fans of NBC's "Grimm" have been eager for the show to return after taking its midseason break. Luckily for them, NBC has now released the official plot synopsis for the show's midseason premiere which is set to air on the 22nd of January.

The official synopsis from NBC reads "Nick (David Giuntoli) and the gang are still reeling from the scope of the ambush and the surprise return of "Juliette" (Bitsie Tulloch), but not everything is as it seems. In light of the heightened Wesen violence, Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) and Rosalee (Bree Turner) seek answers from the Wesen Council. Meanwhile, Trubel (guest star Jacqueline Toboni) has some information for Nick that will help him get what he is looking for."

Bitsie Tulloch returned to the show in the midseason finale of season five. She returned as Eve, a mysterious woman working with Hadrian's Wall, says the International Business Times. It seems as though fans will no longer have to theorize about Eve's identity or her origins as Nick will sit down and question her upon the show's return on NBC.

"Finally, Nick and Eve will have a big, bold scene. We learn about what happened to her, who she is now and what she is now. For a change of pace, the following episode, A Reptile Dysfunction, is 'funny and dark'," says Grimm executive producer David Greenwalt in his interview with TV Line, as reported by International Business Times.

The show will continue to tackle the Wesen uprising story line upon its return. It is "a battle for the world between Hadrian's Wall and Black Claw," says Greenwalt. There have also been photos released for the midseason return. One of them shows Nick and Adalind almost sharing a kiss. Fans will now surely be thinking about why the two of them are suddenly getting very close to each other.
