True Blood's Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer are proud new parents! The celebrity couple welcomed their twins recently.
The babies originally due in this fall arrived early.
The couple's representatives confirmed the birth of the babies to the reporters: "We can confirm that Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer recently welcomed their twins into the world," People magazine quoted them saying. "The babies were born a few weeks early, but are in good health and both mom and dad are overjoyed."
The 29-year-old actress, after meeting Moyer at the sets of the HBO hit, tied the knot in 2010. The couple confirmed pregnancy news in April.
It was their True Blood cast-mate Sam Trammell, best known for his role as Sam Merlotte in the HBO series, who announced the twins news.
"I'm so excited for them," Trammell, who has twin boys with his girlfriend Missy Yager, told Us Weekly in June. "We sent them a special gift. It's so interesting that True Blood has become, like, the 'twins' show."
Moyer, having a son(Billy)and a daughter(Lilac) from a previous relationship, was eagerly waiting for the new arrivals.
"It's always amazing," Moyer told Zap2it referring to Paquin's pregnancy. "I love my kids so much. And I think that the fact Anna is pregnant just adds more crazy to the bundle of fun."
Paquin shot to fame in 1993 after she grabbed the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in The Piano when she was 11 years. She has also won Golden Globe Award for Best Actress-Television Series Drama in 2008 for her role as Snookie Stackhouse in 'True Blood'.
