A tourist family from Argentina visited Brazil on a holiday. But the happiness turned to sourness after the husband angered his wife when he forgot about her at a petrol station while heading back home.
The forgetful man, who only identified himself as Walter, and his wife Claudia were travelling back with their son to Argentina after spending the holiday in Brazil. The family stopped at a gasoline station to fill the tank of their car.
While on the station, Walter went to the toilet then headed back to his car and drove for almost 60 miles before realizing that Claudia was missing. The shocked husband quickly maneuvered the car and went back for his wife at the petrol station.
Meanwhile, irked Claudia tried to reach him to his phone but couldn't get through due to poor signal. Hence, she asked the staff at the gasoline station to help her. They contacted police officers -- who took her to the police station.
After two hours of waiting, Walter appeared at the police station and explained that before he went to the toilet, his wife was sleeping at the back of the car so when he got back, he drove right away because he didn't have any idea that Claudia went down from the car and went to the shop to buy some snacks.
He also said that their 14-year-old son, who was at the passenger side, was not aware that his mother was missing as he was very occupied, playing with his gadget. Thus, the mother was furious as it takes several hours before her husband and son noticed that she's gone.
"She was very angry," a police officer told The Telegraph. "She was moaning at him for taking so long to realize. There was no physical assault, but she was more upset when I saw the husband."
