Several fans have been waiting for the premiere of "Captain America: Civil War" movie in theatres. With many comic book characters reportedly appearing in the forthcoming film, fans will not be seeing one character.
After saying that the character of General Thaddeus Ross, Thunderbolt (William Hurt), will not be in "Civil War," Marvel director Joe Russo did not completely shut down the idea of Red Hulk joining the upcoming movie. "There's always a chance at Marvel that you can see anything. [But] there's no Red Hulk in Civil War," he said, as per Comic Book Movie report.
IGN shared that the presence of Ross in "Captain America: Civil War" is going to drive a wedge between the members of the Avengers as he will become foxier and prejudice-driven against other superheroes; hence, making his character crucial to the movie's plot.
For starters, Ross is also known as Red Hulk - a villain who eventually became a part of "The Avengers." Movie Pilot claimed that he is actually a superhero but it only happened in the comic books, hinting that he could play more of a baddie in the film.
Meanwhile, despite reports about the film's plot, Russo made it clear that "Captain America: Civil War" will not be a dull political movie that would bore fans and make them feel lethargic inside the theaters. "You go to see that movie [in theaters] and you start throwing your candy at the screen because it's not a movie that's very compelling to see," he stated to the press in an interview.
"Captain America is a character who has suffered great lost. The journey that he goes on through Winter Soldier and Civil War is a journey back to himself and trying to decide whether or not his allegiance should be to himself and to the things that he holds dear," Russo added, suggesting that Captain America (Chris Evans) could be giving up his powerful shield by the end of the "Captain America: Civil War" movie.
"Captain America: Civil War" will hit theaters on May 6, 2016.
