The hit Netflix sitcom "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt" has just been renewed to be back on TV for season 3 and April 15 is its premiere date. According to Entertainment Weekly, this news broke just before the Television Critics Association (TCA) tour that happened in Pasadena late last year.
This stars Ellie Kemper, who is known for her role as Erin Hannon from "The Office," and it is a show developed by Tina Fey and Robert Carlock.
Fans of the show would once again see Kemper living life after breaking out living from a cult's lifestyle. She has been a part of a cult for a decade and a half and, now that is she finally out of it, she will then discover what is it like to live without being brainwashed. Her character would need the help of people who are in the real world and Tina is part of it along with Titus Burgess and Carol Kane just to name a few.
The Verge also published this story about the said sitcom and the network's other project coming out this year like the season 4 premiere of "Orange Is The New Black" that is about to be back on June 17. Going back to the new season of "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt," some spoilers are out including Kimmy looking for her mother this time. She would also experience a rocky relationship with her nanny Jacqueline (Jane Krakowski) since she is now single and is financially struggling.
Kemper revealed some stories that fans of the show should look forward to and her character with her nanny is definitely one of those things that would make the premiere's plot even more interesting. It is going to be awkward since not only is her nanny her employee, but she is also a friend.
Catch the new season of "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt" on Netflix on April 15.
