Pregnant actress Jennifer Love Hewitt is craving cupcakes.
According to media reports, the mom-to-be is making maximum use of her pregnancy status to justify her eternal love for cupcakes.
"Cupcakes seem to be a thing, but that's always been a thing," the mom-to-be told People magazine. The 34-year-old was attending the Old Navy's "Mickey Through the Decades" collection launch event in Burbank, Calif. Saturday.
"I want to blame it on pregnancy, but it's really always been my favorite. Now, I have the ability to eat three instead of one, which is nice."
Though the expecting star was unable to control her addiction to the baked delicacies even after conceiving, she has been very particular in balancing it and maintaining her health by regular daily workouts.
"I'm doing yoga and cardio and all of that stuff, so it's been good," Hewitt added to the magazine. "I think it's been making a big difference in how I feel, too."
After her break up with Scottish actor Ross McCall in 2008 and actor Jamie Kennedy in 2010, Hewitt started dating actor Brian Hallisay in March 2012. Early this year, she announced her engagement with her "The Client" co-star also revealing that she is expecting the couple's first child.
The actress, who has been active on Twitter before her pregnancy, announced her plans to discontinue her activities on the micro blogging site early in July, to avoid being exposed to too much negativity during pregnancy.
"Unfortunately with all the negativity people choose to send on twitter as well as threats to there own well being. I'm sad to say twitter is no longer for me," Hewitt wrote, July 3. "I have enjoyed all the kindness and love that came my way, as well as support. But this break is needed. Life should be filled with positivity and holding each other up, not making threats and sending bad vibes. To those of you who made it a joy. Thank you from the bottom of my heart."
Hewitt, who received the title of "Texas Our Little Miss Talent Winner" at age 10, entered the world of acting through commercials. She shot to fame with her first role as a child actor on Disney Channel's 1989 show "Kids Incorporated."
