According to the publication, Sam Heughan, Caitriona Balfe, and the rest of the cast attended the last read-through for the upcoming season.
While some may note that the last read-through of the season does not confirm that the show has already found its Brianna Randall, the tweet from Matthew B. Roberts about new faces attending the get together seemingly hinted on the possibility.
"Last read-thru of @Outlander_Starz #outlander S2 Some familiar faces, some new ones. Some laughter, some tears. Mostly tears #Bittersweet," he wrote.
Several fans have been excitedly a waiting for casting news surrounding Brianna, as she is considered as one of the fan-favorite characters from Diana Gabaldon's second book, "Dragonfly in Amber." Several actresses have been rumored to play the role, but Starz has yet to make an official announcement.
Meanwhile, Scottish actor Sam Heughan recently shared details about what "Outlander" Season 2 holds for his character, Jamie Fraser, in an interview with Cinema Blend.
"Season 2 has been about discovering a side of the character I didn't know was there. He's playing someone else - he's learning to be quite deceptive, and he does it very well," Heughan revealed.
"Outlander" Season 2 will see Jamie and Claire travel to Paris in an attempt to stop the Battle of Culloden from taking place. The Starz time traveler series is expected to air its sophomore season in March or April.
