Samsung Galaxy S7, S7 Edge and the S7 Edge+ will be launched next month during the Mobile World Congress event in Barcelona Spain, as reported by Latinos Health. MWC 2016 will be a three-day event between February 22 and 25.
Samsung will unveil their three newest smartphone line during the event instead of two versions as what they have done in the past. Some sources reported the reason why the Korean firm is releasing new smartphones may be because of Apple planning to unveil their newest phones altogether in one.
It was reportedly that iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus and the iPhone 7c will be released in September this year. Samsung would like to do it first get ahead of the game.
Latinos Health reported the three key features that will be expected from the new flagship smartphones are:
First, the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge will reportedly have a reinstalled external storage slots. It has the microSD slots and a good quality of battery upgrade at 3000 mAh and 3600 mAh, according to Alphr.
Second, the latest phone line will be more water and dust resistance than their previous line like S5. It was reportedly that it will have an IP67 (Ingress Protection) certification which means that the phones will be protected from water with a depth of up to 1 meter as per Small Biz Trends.
Third, Neurogadget also reported that Samsung will have a new and improved camera by cutting their camera's megapixels to 12MP for the rear and 5MP for front camera. They stated that it will capture the image and process it much faster.
Additionally, the phones will be better than its predecessors and the iPhone 6S' aperture as well by having a f/1.7 aperture. The Galaxy S7 will be thicker at 7.9 mm with the latter at 6.9mm than the Galaxy S6 to give Samsung user a better and good camera.
