Ned Luke, who is playing Michael de Santa in "Grand Theft Auto 5" claimed that he knows nothing about Rockstar's plans of any new single-player content department, as per GameSpot. Also, he wrote on Facebook that he doesn't know when or even if Rockstar plans to release single-player DLC for "GTA 5."
"EVERYBODY wants single player DLC...I know NOTHING about that," Luke said via VG247. "Don't know when it's gonna happen or even IF it's gonna happen."
Latinos Health reported that Luke with actors Shawn Fonteno and Steven Ogg, who play Franklin and Trevor in "GTA 5" respectively, will be attending a couple of conventions along this year as per Luke. Yet, Luke didn't mention any name of the specific conventions he is attending, though there are a lot of choices from around the world for the whole year.
GameSpot reported that, even though there are no new contents for "GTA 5" aside from the GTA Online updates, it is interesting that Luke, Ogg, and Fonteno would begin convention tour this year. Meanwhile, they also added that the recent speculation around the single-player DLC of "GTA 5" happened last week when Fonteno shared a photo of himself in a motion capture suit on his Instagram account.
Though, Rockstar has commented that it gives the idea of single-player story content for "GTA 5," but there are no official announcements has been made yet. For now, there are reports that predecessor "GTA 4" has welcomed two post-release expansions and that includes "The Ballad of Gay Tony" and "The Lost and the Damned."
NPD data reported that "GTA 5" is a smash hit. It continues to sell well even after two years of its initial release for last-generation consoles.
It still lands at the No. 5 overall position in 2015 for best-selling physical U.S. games. On the other hand, "GTA" Online gets a player base attention of around 8 million players every week as per Take-Two's latest estimates.
