'Grimm Season 5' Release Date, Cast & Update: Nick and Juliette 2.0's Big, Bold Scene, Adalind Side-lined? [Spoilers]

Just as "Grimm" hero Nick (David Giuntoli) and "Grimm's" reformed resident temptress/villainess/hexenbiest Adalind's (Claire Coffee) unlikely romance seems to begin blossoming against all odds, modified ex-fiance Juliette 2.0 (Bitsie Tulloch) shows up at the midseason finale of "Grimm Season 5." Much to the dismay of "Team Adalind," "Grimm" gives Hadrian's Wall a super-weapon against the revolutionary Wesen Black Claws -Eve, which turns out to be Juliette Silverton turned superhexenbiest.

Although "Grimm" co-executive producer David Greenwalt promised that the only thing of Juliette left in Eve is her DNA, fans of the show are reluctant to accept that thing are that simple. Massive brainwashing after all is never a guarantee that memories and emotions are completely erased. Take Arnold Schwarzenegger/ Collin Farrel's "Total Recall" for example.

TVLine reports that according to Greenwalt, the "Grimm: Season 5" midseason premiere aptly called "Eve of Destruction" will find Nick Burkhardt on a one-on-one with Eve and it will be a long one. "Finally, Nick and Eve will have a big, bold scene," Greenwalt related. "We learn about what happened to her, who she is now, and what she is now.

However, before members of "Team Adalind" panic, co-executive producer James Kouf hints at what's behind the promotional photo for "Grimm Season 5" midseason premiere where Nick and Adalind Schade are huddled close over the dining table. Kouf laughingly busts the innocent stance that Adalind is helping Nick fix his contacts. "It has nothing to do with contacts," Koufs points out.

The Eve of destruction is upon us.

An earlier report by Jobs and Hire assured that the Nick and Adalind romance Trubel awkwardly hinted at will left well alone. "The Nick-Adalind relationship is going to have a life of its own without the Juliette/Eve aspect because they have a kid," Greenwalt said.

Kouf, however, stressed that the relationship will be far from a bed of roses. "But there's a lot of other complicated things that are going on that will determine how that relationship works out," he emphasized.

In the meantime, Fashion and Style reported that the Wesen uprising will continue to heat up and force a head on collision between Hadrian's Wall and the Black Claws. Trubel (Jacqueline Toboni) will also reveal crucial information that will aid Nick in his mission. Lawyer Herald says that Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) and Rosalee (Bree Turner) will confront the Wesen Council for the truth.
