'Thor: Ragnarok' Release Date, Cast, Plot & Update: 'Thor 3' Reveals Why Odin Went Missing, New Villains To Wreak Havoc, Thor Muscles Say 'Bring it!' [SPOILER ALERT]

Asgard being mostly epic in theme, Odin's reappearance in "Thor: Ragnarok" will be completely unexpected. Kenneth Branagh's "Thor" set the tone well for Loki's hatred of Odin (Anthony Hopkins). The ending of director Alan Taylor's "Thor: The Dark World" saw the supposedly dead Loki masquerading as Odin. Whether the real Allfather was dead or alive was anyone's guess. "Thor: Ragnarok" takes where that thread left off.

Geek.com lays the outline of the Marvel Universe gearing up for "Avengers: Infinity War." The war will require a strong roster of Avengers. This requires the conclusion of individual "Avenger" trilogies. Tony Stark's story neatly melded into the Avengers' fold with "Iron Man 3." Captain America's individual story wraps up with "Captain America: Civil War." Thor's solo story will now close with "Thor: Ragnarok." And what an interesting close it will be, beginning with establishing Odin's fate.

According to sources, Odin's disappearance will play out as a flee to Midgard in "Thor: Ragnarok." Instead of being murded in Odinsleep, which is a downtime that allows Odin to recharge his megapower called Odinforce, by misguided stepson Loki, Odin had instead gone hobo in the streets of panet Earth to warn humans of the coming apocalypse. The extremeness of resorting to, what Geek.com calls, Hobodin is telling of the scale of conflict that "Thor: Ragnarok" has in store. Definitely, for something so big as what's coming in "Thor: Ragnarok" a few other villains besides Loki, played by Tom Hiddleston who is also rumored to play the third Sherlock brother in "Sherlock Season 4," will make a play for rule and domination.

As ComingSoon.Net reported, Marvel president Kevin Feige says that "Thor 3" will be, as fans have been longing for, happening a lot outside planet Earth. "I don't think people will read into that title alone [regarding] what the movie's going to be, " Feige said. "It's going to be, perhaps, as totally different from the two prior "Thor" movies as 'Winter Soldier' was from the first 'Captain America.' "

"We want to take it to new places, we've got new characters that will show how big we're swinging on this," Feige hints quite significantly. "And we have a Hulk... The film takes place within the cosmos primarily, which is to say, frankly, very little Earth."

In the meantime, the God of Thunder himself (Chris Hemsworth) says "Bring it" loudly with his restored bulk and biceps. "In The Heart Of The Sea" took out a lot of muscle mass away from Hemsworth. As Daily Mail reports, Thor's muscles have been spotted once again on Hemsworth in apparent preparation to wield Thor's hammer Mjolnir.
