WWE and "Total Divas" star Rosa Mendes is known for taking on tough jobs as a female professional wrestler and a reality show star. Now, Mendes is going to be taking on an even tougher job as a mother of a little girl.
Yahoo Parenting recently spoke with Mendes about the challenges of her career in the World Wrestling Entertainment. The 36-year-old wrestler also spoke about being pregnant with a baby girl to be named Jordan Elizabeth.
"I felt so lucky, I was having a breeze and bragging to everyone, like, 'I love being pregnant! I'm one of the lucky ones!' And now this third trimester has been so tough," Mendes confessed about her pregnancy. She also shared that she is dealing with the difficulties and challenges of pregnancy by being physically active and staying busy.
The female professional wrestler also talked about being pregnant and working for WWE at the same time. "Being in such a physical industry, I was worried it would affect my career, but no -- when I told them, they congratulated me." Although she is not currently wrestling because of her pregnancy, she is still working for the company in a non-physically demanding role.
Mendes also revealed that she was not prepared to have a child before she learned that she was pregnant because she had a lot of goals she wanted to achieve first in the WWE. But when she finally learned that she was pregnant, the star felt a bit differently. "But when it happened, I was very happy. I cried happy tears, and it was a beautiful feeling," Mendes shared.
Rosa Mendes' boyfriend and the father of her baby, is a clothing line owner and musician, Bobby Schubenski as reported by Starcasm. Mendes and Schubenski started dating last April and got engaged a few months later. One thing is for sure, Mendes is definitely going to have her hands full managing her time as a TV star and a professional wrestler as well as being a future mom and wife.
