Singer Pink says although she was unsure about having children, she is now a happy mother.
In an interview to GQ Australia, a men's magazine, she confessed about how determined her husband, Cary Hart, was on having babies and her uncertainty about it.
"I had moments where I wanted a kid with Carey. You know - you fall in love and you're like, 'We should have kids,' and then it went away. But he always wanted kids and then we did it and now it's like, 'F**k this is so rad.' It's more important than anything we've done," she said.
The 33-year-old singer is a mother to two-year-old daughter Willow and is absolutely fond of her. She says her daughter is the "best thing in the world" and starts her day with a hug from Willow.
"She's the coolest thing that has ever happened to me - she's really f***ing cheeky and funny. Now I have someone to sing goofy-ass songs to all day and she likes it. She's not judging me. She's probably the only person who doesn't judge me," she said.
Pink confessed that she did not have a memorable past with her mother and so was hesitant about being a mother herself. "My mother was so happy I had a girl, because she said then I would understand what she went through with me. I'll have to wait until (Willow's) a teenager," she said.
She talked about how she managed to kept her life simple despite her fame and success. "My life hasn't changed that much. I mean, I could do without the paparazzi taking photos of my child. But I tour, I write songs, I go through the same s**t as everybody else. I've never enveloped myself in that, 'I'm a f***ing rockstar, I'm important,' thing. I don't get it - either you're a good person or you're not," she signed off.
