As the world awaits the royal baby's arrival, celebs took to Twitter to show their excitement.

Kate Middleton checked into St. Mary's Hospital on Monday shortly before 6 a.m. local time.

Kate Gosselin was referring to CNN's decision to call the royal baby watch "Will and Kate Plus 1." The star was formally on her own reality television show, "Jon and Kate Plus Eight," and then "Kate Plus Eight," after her divorce.

This will be a historic birth for the British monarchy as the couple's first child will become third in line for the British throne, after Prince Charles and William, and will eventually become king or queen.
