Hillary Scott is a new mommy.
The 27-year-old singer and husband, Chris Tyrrell welcomed their first child, a baby girl, Monday, July 22. The new parents have named their bundle of joy 'Eisele Kaye Tyrrell'.
The newborn weighed 7 pounds and 13 ounces at her birth in Nashville, according People magazine. "She is incredibly gorgeous," the new dad told the magazine.
According to the reports, the couple has named their little girl after their mothers- Eisele (Tyrrell's mother's maiden name) and Kaye (after Scott's mother country singer, Linda Kaye Davis.)
Interestingly, the new addition to the family arrived the same day, Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton and Prince William welcomed their first child, a baby boy at the St. Mary's Hospital in London.
Later, Scott took to her Twitter account to share her happiness with the 119,359 followers.
"She's here, and we are in HEAVEN!!! Eisele Kaye, our beautiful angel, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!" she wrote, after posting a photo of her newborn's little foot prints.
The new mom's Twitter account has been pouring with congratulatory messages from different parts of the country, since she announced her baby's arrival.
"Congrats on your new arrival! Elated 4 u guys. You'll never have a Bigger Hit than that little one! God bless :)"one of the messages on Twitter read, while another one added: "Congratulations! now Eisele Kaye and the #RoyalBaby are gonna share the same birthday! :)"
This is the first child of the Lady Antebellum singer with Tyrrell. Scott who was with Tyrrell in college, entered into a relationship with the lead drummer of band "Love and Theft", during Tim McGraw's Southern Voice tour in 2010. The Lady Antebellum song "Just a Kiss" revolves around Scott's relationship with Tyrrell. The couple tied the knot in January 2012. In December 2012, they confirmed pregnancy.
In 2011, Tyrrell started working for the band. Apart from Scott, "Lady Antebellum", based in Nashville, Tennessee, consists of Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood.
