The birth of the royal baby has definitely overshadowed the arrival of other celeb babies.
Penelope Cruz and husband Javier Bardem welcomed their second baby on Monday and now early Tuesday morning, talk show host and comedian Jimmy Fallon became a father the very first time.
The "Late Night" anchor and producer wife Nancy Juvonen welcomed a baby girl Tuesday at 6:21 a.m., reported PEOPLE magazine.
Both, the father and mother of the baby, are "overjoyed about the arrival of their beautiful daughter," Fallon's representative told PEOPLE.
The 38-year-old Fallon married 46-year-old Juvonen in December 2007. The news of their baby's arrival has come as a surprise to many because there were no reports of the couple expecting a child.
Fallon is slated to take over "The Tonight Show" from Jay Leno in 2014. Juvonen runs production Flower Films with friend Drew Barrymore.
Fallon is known for his killing sense of humor. When the Duchess of Cambridge went into labor he tweeted, "Kate Middleton went into labor this morning in London. When the rest of the royal family heard, they were like, 'Oh my God-what's labor?'"
Fallon has a golden retriever named Gary Frick, who often appears on his talk show "Late Night".
The baby girl is expected to join Fallon on his show sometime soon, according to reports. Fallon's show has been nominated for an Emmy for a straight third time.
Before marrying Juvonen, Fallon dated Tara Subkoff and Winona Ryder. In 2011, on "The Dr. Oz" show, he had a mole removed from his left hand in front of a live studio audience by the cosmetic surgeon Arthur Perry.
