Two years ago, the release of Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and "GTA 6" were so highly hyped and it was right to do so because all three of those things surpassed the unexpected. Now, rumors have it that Sony and Microsoft are on their way to creating the next generation consoles, the Xbox Two and the PlayStation 5; together with this news is also the upcoming video game "GTA 6."
Although there are still no confirmed dates for the consoles and for "GTA 6," it is not far off to think that when the next gen consoles are to be released so will "GTA 6." It could mean that "GTA 6" could be the first video game to be developed for Xbox Two and PlayStation 5.
This could be true, "GTA 6" could really be released the same time as the new Xbox and PlayStation are released. Hints are everywhere for the next gen consoles after fans caught site of Sony hiring game developers.
"We have an exciting opportunity at Sony Computer Entertainment of America (PlayStation). We seek a senior game programmer to assist us in developing a game used for R&D purposes related to our next generation gaming system," the job hiring post said. Fans believe that the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Two will be discless consoles that run on AMD processors and are virtual-reality enabled.
Philip Spencer of Xbox One already confirmed that they will create a new console as well. "... fully expect that you'll see another console from us. Our best customers are Xbox console customers, and I want to keep those people engaged both on the Xbox One and anything we might do in the future," he said.
As for "GTA 6" release date, it is still unconfirmed but it could happen as soon as the next gen consoles are done. For now, game developers of "GTA" are concentrating on DLC's for "GTA 5."
