Jimmy Fallon, the talk show host who is the latest father in town introduced his baby daughter via Instagram to his fans.
"I would like to introduce... Winnie Rose Fallon," he wrote adding, "Her first day was the best of our lives."
The 38-year-old 'Late Night' host and wife, Nancy Juvonen Fallon welcomed their first child Tuesday. On Wednesday's Late Night monologue, Fallon told the audience that daughter Winnie Rose is a "beautiful baby girl."
"I'm the father of a beautiful baby girl. She's so cute. She's 5 lbs., 9 oz. Me and my wife are so happy. Thank you all for all the well-wishes on Facebook and Twitter and the blogs. I'm just so happy," he said.
Fallon married 46-year-old Juvonen in December 2007. The news of their baby's arrival came as a surprise to many because there was no news of the couple expecting a child. According to several reports, baby Winnie Rose will join father on his Late Night show soon.
Fallon's sense of humor has garnered much public attention and it is what makes him audience's favorite. Since the time the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton went into labor; Fallon didn't leave an opportunity to have a good laugh about it. On Monday he tweeted, "Kate Middleton went into labor this morning in London. When the rest of the royal family heard, they were like, 'Oh my God-what's labor?'"
On a lighter note during Wednesday's monologue, Fallon said, "The other baby ... Yes, William and Kate, we will definitely set up a playdate!"
