'Destiny 2' Release Date & Update: Game Arriving This Year? Developers To Recreate New Story For The Game

Fans of the popular video game "Destiny" are expecting a sequel since lots of rumors about its creation has been spreading online since last year. The company has not announced any confirmation about the second installment of the game, but it is more likely to happen since fans of the game are looking forward to it.

One of the rumors that are out there is the game's official release date. According to Kotaku, the game's original launch was supposed to be on September this year but then the company decided to postpone it and change it to next year. Admins of the game are still yet to figure out how "Destiny 2" will come out different to gamers.

IGN, on the other hand, said that developers of the game "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare" is currently working with the company of "Destiny," which means there is a huge possibility of them contributing to "Destiny 2."

One of the causes of the delay of the "Destiny" sequel is the fact that the original story intended for it was thrown away. The company then has to recreate a new story and the repackage the whole thing. Tech Times also said that some of the new concepts eventually also became a part of another game called "Taken King."

There were concepts and ideas that used to be created for "Destiny" like the idea of having Mars on the public space. It was not able to happen for the game, but the idea is still open for High Moon Studios to apply it on "Destiny 2."

Fans of the original game are becoming disappointed with the current features and this is why they are excited to see the sequel. The company did however, gave some of the gamers a taste of the sequel with some of their other games like Sparrow Racing League. Apparently, gamers are still not satisfied about it.
