Women More Attracted to Mens' Sense of Humour

No matter how handsome you are, if you do not have a good sense of humor chances are, women won't fall for you.

Yes, you read it right. A latest study found that women's brains respond with immense activity when compared to men's response to humor.

Stanford University School of Medicine researchers scanned brains of 22 girls and boys, aged six to 13. While scanning they were showed funny videos. To this, girls showed higher brain activity than the boys. This proved that women enjoyed humorous activities.

It is a general notion that women often judge men's fatherly instincts on the basis of their humor.

"Our data for the first time disclose that sex differences in humor appreciation already exist in young children," the researchers wrote, according to the Daily Mail.

According to the researchers, the results possibly show that a man's sense of humor to is a crucial parameter for women in choosing their partner. This may as well be true in case of women "because the female brain, and particularly the reward circuit, is biologically better prepared to respond accordingly."
