"The Walking Dead" season 6 is about to return on AMC this Feb. 14 to show its midseason premiere. Fans couldn't wait what is in store for the series after a huge cliffhanger of the midseason finale.
The network released some photos of the promo of the series, but there is not much to be taken from them, according to The Inquisitr.. There are, however, some hints about what it is to come. One of the pictures they released showed Daryl along with Sasha and Abraham.
Based on Cinema Blend's report, it is looking like the three characters would play a huge role this midseason. They were seen last time as survivors having to deal with some tough bikers who were trying to steal all the things they got because Negan now owns those.
For those who love the comic book version of the story, Negan is the ultimate antagonist in the storyline and this season is the first time that his character was brought up. It is a new character on the show and actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan will be playing the role. Showrunner Robert Kirkman even said that Morgan's debut on the show would shock everybody.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Kirkman said that Negan won't be the only huge character that will be seen this midseason, but a guy named Jesus/Paul Monroe would also be a part of it. Tom Payne will play the role and his character involves some ninja fighting skills with a lot of beard on his face. Based on the comic book, Jesus is from another group of survivors called the "Hilltop," and his role could help the Alexandrians survive the massive zombie apocalypse. Kirkman is certain that fans would love this new character he decided to add in the show.
Don't miss the mid-season premiere of "The Walking Dead" on Feb. 14 via AMC.
