The release of upcoming Samsung Galaxy S7 has been plagued with rumors as specs and images of the latest flagship leaked. The crown jewel is about to be released in a few months that's why information about the device is starting to emerge.
According to 9to5Google, the site about the handheld information GSM Arena received pictures of the front and back panel of the alleged Galaxy S7. These photos came from the product line itself, the ready-to-be-produced version, but the "developer model based."
The photographs showed the front panel, which didn't show its brand because it was hidden by a sticker, but the serial number "SM-G930F" was seen proving it is indeed Galaxy S7. Also, it gave a glimpse of the "fingerprint scanner home button," which is Samsung's signature style and is one of the few Android phones using it.
Additionally, it was quite to divulge the exact screen size of the phone. However, some reports said it might be 5.2 inches. This, too, looked like the standard model of Galaxy S7 and not the S7 Edge version because of its flat edges.
A mark "R05" was also spotted, which looked like a revision of the first module. Furthermore, it has been known that Galaxy S7 will use BRITECELL technology that will let it able to give perfect images under low lighting with 12-megapixel rear-facing camera.
"Samsung's Semiconductor division has been touting the low-light advantages of its new BRITECELL sensor layout," Extreme Tech's David Cardinal said when he met with Samsung at CES. "So it will be interesting to see if it is willing to gamble its new flagship phone on the technology. BRITECELL replaces the standard Bayer array sensor layout."
Meanwhile, Galaxy S7 will carry 4GB RAM with either Samsung's own Exynos 8890 processor or Qualcomm's Snapdragon 820. However, in spite of the news that Samsung is building its own Snapdragon 820, the company is known for using the mix of their own chips and Qualcomm to keep pace and give the demands of different markets.
