‘Friends’ 2016 Reunion Update: Hit Sitcom's Cast Shares One Picture with ‘The Big Bang Theory’ Stars

The cast of the '90s hit sitcom "Friends" shared a picture with stars of the current comedy series "The Big Bang Theory." They were all gathered to celebrate NBC's "Must See TV: A Tribute to James Burrow" over the weekend and will air on Feb. 21.

Kaley Cuoco of "TBBT" shared the snap on her Instagram page featuring the stars of the two giant shows of the past and present. Fans of the both programs gone crazy as it hit 110,000 likes, almost 5,000 comments -- as of this writing -- and quickly surfaced online.

According to Hindustan Times, the picture was composed of Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt Le Blanc and David Schwimmer. Of course, Cuoco was seen with the gang with her own group, Jim Parsons, Johnny Galecki and Simon Helberg.

Unfortunately, Matthew Perry did not make it in the event but he will surely give his pre-recorded message for the 75-year-old TV director. He was currently in London for the rehearsal of his upcoming theater play entitled "The End of Longing."

Additionally, the photograph was just a glimpse of what fans might see for the network's two-hour special in honor of the veteran director. Meanwhile, when "Friends" was making waves from 1994 to 2004, they were making $1 million per episode, People reported.

The show's stars also have an equal paycheck for their commitment of sticking together. They were also altogether for salary negotiations. "The rationale is that the show is generating an enormous amount of money," the 52-year-old actress, who played Phoebe, told HuffPost Live.

"So the rationale is that it's affordable to whoever has to pay it. For any actor, you should try to get as much as you can, 'cause you never know, even if you're in contract for five years," she added. "The Big Bang Theory" stars, on the other hand, like Parsons, Cuoco and Gecki also have $1 million per episode in 2014, that's why the two shows were inevitably compared.
