Kanye West vs. Wiz Khalifa: What Went Down In The No-Holds-Barred Feud On Twitter

Leave it to Kanye West to enrich our lives with the rant to end all rants. Kanye and Wiz Khalifa insulted each other's music, family and dress sense. And it was all over before we knew it!

The stuff hit the fan when Kanye changed his upcoming album title from "Swish" to "Waves," which Wiz Khalifa criticized as dishonoring Max B and the Wave movement. Weezy said Kanye shouldn't call his new album "Waves" because his music wasn't "wavy" enough in reference to imprisoned rapper Max B.

"Please don't take the wave," Wiz tweeted and then later added, "Hit this kk and become yourself," which West took as a reference to his wife Kim Kardashian.

Needless to say, Kanye took offense and proceeded to post a plethora of responses lashing out at Khalifa. "Your first single was corny as ... and most thereafter," he tweeted. Kanye's tweet onslaught didn't spare even Khalifa's ex Amber Rose and the couple's child.

As the Internet flooded with reactions to West's comments, it was not long before Amber herself weighed in. She in no uncertain terms mocked Yeezy for being into "booty" play when they were together.

Kanye proceeded to spend the whole afternoon blasting Wiz on Twitter. "I am your OG, and I will be respected as such," West wrote. Things cooled down when Khalifa explained: "KK is weed fool. Reason's why your not wavy. Go bacc to Swish."

Kanye finally ended his Twitter rant with a thank you for the extra promotion for "Waves" and that "all I want is peace and positive energy." His final tweet, aimed at Khalifa, apologized for the misunderstanding.

Following the social media firestorm since, Kanye has deleted his Twitter rampage. Now, all we can hope is for more fireworks in the next round. That's on Feb. 11 when "Waves" drops just one week after Khalifa's self-titled album.
