Several WWE favorites could make a comeback at "WrestleMania 32." Names have been thrown left and right, but all of them have remain unconfirmed as of writing.
According to reports, some of the most popular names in wrestling- Hulk Hogan, Ronda Rousey and The Rock- are expecting to grace the AT&T Stadium in Arlington for WWE's annual event. However, fans seem to wonder why another big shot's name hasn't been making that much noise this year. Sources claimed that fan favorite Dave "Batista" Bautista was allegedly offered to make an appearance at the event, but the former WWE star has declined.
"Vince McMahon wants Dave Bautista to make an appearance at WrestleMania 32 in Texas," Pro Wrestling Sheet reported, adding, "but we're told it's unlikely to happen at this point."
"According to well-placed sources, Batista travelled to Orlando Sunday for the Royal Rumble and met with Vince backstage to hear the pitch - but McMahon wasn't looking for 'The Animal' to wrestle," the report added. "Our sources say Vince instead wanted him to make a one-off appearance at the annual event."
The article continued to say that Batista has initially passed on the offer, and will most likely refuse it altogether because of conflicts filming "Guardians of the Galaxy 2." However, even with Batista joining "WrestleMania 32" or not, fans are definitely most excited about Undertaker's farewell match and the World Title match.
Rumors are now circulating that with John Cena's recent injury, a worthy contender to go head-to-head with the legendary Undertaker has been lost. But, several speculations claimed that fans could have the biggest shock of their lives when it could be announced that Triple H, who is the World Champion, will face Undertaker in the event.
"So, the championship match is pretty much set, right? WrestleMania looks like it's heading to Triple H vs. Roman Reigns," Uproxx noted. "But there's still a possibility that there's a monkey wrench somewhere here. If I'm thinking outside the box, Ambrose finally turns on Reigns and they fight at Mania. Then we still need to have Triple H wrestle someone at Mania. What if that becomes The Undertaker's spot?"
