Michael Weatherly has been loved for his character as Anthony DiNozzo since the "Naval Criminal Investigative Service" started in 2003. However, many were left brokenhearted when the news emerged that he's going to say goodbye at the end of Season 13.
As the 47-year-old actor will take his final bow, a new addition is already in the works as CBS is now looking for new regular for the upcoming Season 14. According to TV Line, the network is searching for an actress to play the role of "Tess."

The new personality, too, can easily be blended with a group of politicians and have the guts to stop the truck drivers along the way. She also has a tough disposition as romance is out of her mind and considers a glass of martini and a chunk of burger cool.
Meanwhile, Weatherly confirmed that his leaving "NCIS" on his Twitter page. "DiNozzo is a wonderful, quixotic character & I couldn't have had more fun playing him over the past 13 seasons," he tweeted.
"I will miss the amazing crew & cast, who are like family to me, & to the fans all over the world - THANK YOU, it's been a fantastic ride!" he added. CBS, on the other hand, confirmed the news as they released a statement via E! News.

"We thank Michael for all of his contributions to this successful franchise and look forward to continuing to develop projects with him as part of our ongoing development deal."
